Yiwu's main attraction is the spectacle of global commerce on an incomprehensible scale — the International Trade City alone spans five districts and millions of square metres, and simply walking a fraction of it is an experience unlike any other in China. Beyond the market, the Muslim quarter around Binwang Market offers a more manageable and more atmospheric glimpse into Yiwu's cosmopolitan character, and the film studios at Hengdian, technically outside the city, are one of China's most improbable attractions.
