Ayia Napa Sculpture Park

Open-air park with contemporary sculptures from international artists

The Ayia Napa Sculpture Park is an open-air gallery set in pine-covered grounds near the centre of town, with over 200 contemporary sculptures from artists across Cyprus and around the world. It is an unexpectedly serious artistic endeavour in a town better known for nightclubs — the collection spans abstraction, figurative work, and installation, and has been growing since the park's establishment in 2014.

The park is free to enter and open daily, and it makes a good daytime escape from the beach. Shaded paths wind through the pines between the works, and it is considerably cooler here than on the seafront. Several of the sculptures respond to themes of the sea, mythology, and Cyprus's divided history. A map at the entrance identifies the works and their artists.
