Limassol Promenade

The Limassol seafront promenade stretches for several kilometres along the coast east of the old town, lined with palm trees, cafés, and the outdoor tables that fill up every evening with locals and visitors. It is one of the most pleasant waterfront walks in Cyprus — wide, well-maintained, and busy with joggers, cyclists, and families at any hour.

The promenade connects the old harbour area to the Dasoudi municipal park and beach complex, passing the Sculpture Park and the Molos coastal park along the way. At the eastern end, the Marina (completed 2014) provides the kind of superyacht-and-champagne atmosphere that Limassol's status as a financial and business centre attracts. The western end, near the castle, is more local and unhurried. The walk in either direction at sunset is hard to beat.
