Limassol's Old Harbour is the oldest part of the city's working waterfront, a short walk south from the medieval castle. Colourful fishing boats tie up here alongside smaller pleasure craft, and the area has several seafood restaurants and cafés that draw both locals and visitors for lunch by the water.
The harbour is pleasant for an early evening walk when the fishing boats return and the light on the water is at its best. The castle is immediately adjacent, making this a natural combined visit with the medieval museum. The area between the harbour and the castle — along Spyrou Araouzou Street — is one of the more atmospheric corners of old Limassol.
