Castaway is Dili's open-air sports-bar-and-meeting-point on the seafront — a wooden deck with plastic chairs, a long bar, big TVs for rugby and football, and an unbroken view of the bay. There is nothing remotely refined about it, but it works: in the evening the breeze blows the heat out, the beer is cold, and the burgers and pizzas hit the spot.
