Bhadrachalam town is small enough to walk around — the temple, the ghats, and the bus stand are all within fifteen minutes of each other on foot. Auto rickshaws cover the town and outlying areas; they have no meters, so agree on the price before you get in. Expect to pay around ₹30–50 for short trips within town.
For the Papikondalu Hills boat trip, tickets are sold at the APTDC counter near the river ghats. Full-day boat tours include lunch and are the standard way to see the gorge. For Parnasala (35 km) and other day trips, shared jeeps and occasional buses run from the main bus stand.
