By Air. The nearest international airport is Chhatrapati Shivaji in Mumbai, about 180 km away. The closer domestic airport is at Daman, connected to Baroda and Mumbai.
By Train. Vapi, on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad railway line, is the nearest station at just 17 km from Silvassa. From Vapi, take a prepaid taxi or auto-rickshaw into town. Auto-rickshaws are much cheaper than taxis.
By Road. Silvassa is 180 km from Mumbai and well served by both government and private bus services. State transport buses are the most economical option and run regular services on this route.
