A direct KSRTC bus runs from Bangalore to Agumbe (about 387 km). If you miss it, take one of the frequent buses to Shimoga (90 km away) and catch a mini-bus from there. The nearest railway station is at Udupi, about 55 km away, and the nearest airport is Mangalore International, about 165 km away. From either, you will need to hire a car or take a bus via Shimoga or Hebri.
