Kavaledurga Fort is a hilltop ruined fort with three defensive rings, temple remains, old ponds, and a broad view from the summit. The site dates back centuries and is now protected by the Archaeological Survey of India.
The climb is the main reason to come: the path works through stone gateways and broken walls before opening onto sunset views over the surrounding Western Ghats.
