The town is small and most things are walkable. The beaches are reached by cliff trails (rewarding, 15–30 minutes each leg) or by shared boat from the town beach (around Rs 50–100 per person depending on distance). Auto-rickshaws and taxis cover the road to Om beach and around town. The tourist season is October to April; the monsoon (June–September) makes the beach trails impassable and most beach accommodation closes.
