The closest beach to Gokarna town — a 15-20 minute walk over the headland. A long crescent of white sand with rocky hills at either end. Beachside cafes double as simple guesthouses. The beach is relatively flat so the tide runs far up the sand; sunset walks at low tide are particularly good.
