Alappuzha Lighthouse

Alappuzha Lighthouse dates from 1862, when the town was an active trading port on the Kerala coast. Its red-and-white tower is a useful landmark near the beach and a reminder of Alappuzha's maritime past.

Pair it with Alappuzha Beach or the Revi Karunakaran Memorial Museum rather than making a separate trip only for the tower.
