Balancing Rock is a small sight, but it has the sort of physical oddness that makes people stop and stare. A large weathered boulder rests on another rock at what looks like an impossible angle, close to the Madan Mahal area of Jabalpur.
Do not build a whole day around it; pair it with Madan Mahal Fort or the marble rocks circuit. The appeal is quick and visual, and the best visit is a short pause while moving between Jabalpur's larger sights.
