This small Shiva temple on the western fringe of Cuttack is one of the older religious sites in the city. The shrine itself is modest, but it is set in a complex with old banyan trees and a tank, and is a popular stop during Shivaratri when local pilgrims arrive in numbers.
It is a short auto-rickshaw ride from the centre and rarely visited by outsiders. Combine it with a walk along the Mahanadi embankment, which runs close by.
