The Ziegenbalg Museum Complex preserves the printing legacy of Bartholomaeus Ziegenbalg, the German missionary associated with the first printed Tamil Bible. The old press, a printed Bible, and a handwritten Tamil Bible are among the main exhibits.
It is a small but unusual stop in Tranquebar, especially if you are already visiting Fort Dansborg and the town's Danish and missionary-era sites.
