Lake Mist is a small, managed scenic stop on the Mussoorie-Kempty road, built around a mountain stream, pools, and a compact lake. It is not wilderness, but it does offer the easy hill-station pleasures people come to Mussoorie for: water, greenery, and a cooler pocket of air.
It works best as a short pause on the way to or from Kempty Falls, especially for families who want somewhere less hectic than the main cascade. Do not plan your day around it, but do stop if the valley is clear and you want a gentler break.
