Triveni Ghat is the main bathing ghat in Rishikesh proper (Lower Rishikesh), where pilgrims come to take ritual baths in the Ganges at the point where three rivers are said to meet — the Ganges, Yamuna, and the mythological underground Saraswati. In practice it is the most accessible ghat to the railway station and bus stands, and the most visited during the early morning bathing hours.
The ghat holds its own Ganga Aarti ceremony every evening, smaller and less produced than Parmarth's but with a more local character — fewer tourists, more devotees. The sunrise bathing scene here is remarkable: priests chanting, pilgrims waist-deep in the cold river, egrets picking through the shallows, and the first light catching the mountains upstream. The ghat is a ten-minute walk from the railway station.
