The Currency Building is a three-storey Italianate landmark in BBD Bagh, built for colonial Calcutta's financial administration. Its marble and Chunar sandstone floors, large central hall, and restored exterior make it a useful stop when walking the historic government and commercial core around Dalhousie Square.
