Howrah Planetarium presents night-sky and astronomy shows inside a hemispherical dome, with regular daily screenings introducing visitors to planets, stars, and wider space science.
It is most useful as a family or science stop on the Howrah side of the river, especially when paired with a visit to Howrah Bridge or the older sights of north Kolkata.
