The dry season runs April to October and is the best time to visit. The sea is calm year-round because of the reef offshore, so the dolphin trips and snorkelling run even during the wet months from November to March, though afternoon storms are common.
Lovina is at its quietest in February and busiest in July, August and around Christmas.
