Sanur is the most walkable resort area in Bali — the beachfront promenade runs the full length of town and a slow cycle from one end to the other takes about half an hour. Bike rentals are scattered along Danau Tamblingan and on the promenade itself; an old single-speed costs a few dollars a day. For going inland, scooter rental is the standard option (helmet required, international permit technically required); for crossing town in the heat, Grab and Gojek are reliable and cheap. Taxis are metered but more expensive.
