Curug Lawe is a waterfall hike near Bandungan, usually paired with nearby Curug Benowo. The route starts beside an irrigation canal before becoming rougher and rockier as it approaches the falls.
Go early if you can: the forest is quieter, the walk is cooler, and there is a better chance of seeing black Javanese leaf monkeys moving through the trees.
