Ranca Upas is a wide, cool meadow used for camping, picnics and a fenced deer enclosure. Feeding the deer is the obvious family activity, but the better reason to stop is the landscape: grass, pine forest and mist rolling through the Ciwidey valley. It makes an easy break between the village and Kawah Putih.
