Kamojang is a geothermal area between Garut and Bandung, with steam vents, crater ground, and forested slopes. It is less grand than Papandayan, but it shows the same volcanic system from a different angle.
It works best if you are travelling by private car between Bandung and Garut. Stop for the vents and the mountain air, then keep moving.
