Bank Indonesia Museum

The Bank Indonesia Museum is one of Kota Tua's strongest museums, set in the former central bank building near Fatahillah Square. Its exhibits explain Indonesian money, banking, and economic history, with enough historic objects, audiovisual displays, and colonial-era architecture to make the subject approachable.

It pairs naturally with the Jakarta History Museum and Wayang Museum nearby. Do not confuse it with the Bank Mandiri Museum, which is a separate banking museum close by.
