Set in a restored Dutch colonial warehouse on the old harbour of Sunda Kelapa, the Maritime Museum traces Indonesia's seafaring history through model ships, navigational instruments, maps and reconstructed boat sections. Outside, traditional pinisi schooners from Sulawesi still dock at the working harbour — a sight that has barely changed in centuries.
