Green Canyon, locally Cukang Taneuh, is the standard excursion west of Pangandaran. Boats run up a narrow green river between limestone walls, with swimming possible when water levels and conditions allow.
It is a tourist trip, but a good one. Pair it with the beaches around Batu Karas or Cijulang if you have transport for a full coastal day.
