Bukit Batu Kursi is the short climb that gives Pemuteran a landward view. Steps lead up the dry hillside to a small temple and a rock formation associated with the "stone chair" name.
Start early or late; the hill is exposed and hot in the middle of the day. Dress respectfully for the temple area, and take water even though the walk is not long.
