Merah Putih Bridge is Ambon's big modern landmark, a red-and-white span crossing the bay between the city's two sides. It is practical infrastructure, but it also gives Ambon a clean visual symbol: sea, hills, and a cable-stayed bridge in one frame.
You do not need long here. Cross it for the views, or look back at it from the waterfront when the light is good. The bridge is especially useful for understanding Ambon's geography, because the bay divides the island in a way every visitor quickly feels.
