Taman Nukila is a small waterfront park in Ternate, useful less as a formal attraction than as a place to watch the city meet the sea. From the promenade you get harbour activity, island air, and glimpses of the volcanic landscape that defines North Maluku.
It is best around late afternoon, when families gather and the heat drops. Pair it with the nearby palace and old forts for a simple walk through Ternate's layered coastal centre.
