Bat Cave

A short walk from the village, this limestone cave is home to a large colony of fruit bats. The dusk exodus — thousands of bats streaming out of the cave entrance — is worth the walk. The cave itself is accessible with a torch; the interior is small but the formations are decent.

Most guesthouses can point you to the trailhead. The walk takes around 20 minutes through scrubby secondary forest. No guide required.
