Kish is easy to reach by air, and the island's free-trade, visa-free status means no Iranian visa is required for most nationalities — you simply buy a ticket and go. Kish International Airport (IATA: KIH) receives regular flights from Tehran (about 1.5 hours), Dubai (1 hour), and several other Iranian cities. Iran Air, Mahan Air, and Kish Air all serve the route from Tehran multiple times daily; prices are low and seats usually available, though it's worth booking ahead in Iranian holiday periods (Nowruz in March especially).
There is no ferry service currently operating from mainland Iran to Kish. All arrivals are by air.
