Things to Do

The whole town is built around its hot springs. Most visitors come for a day or two of bathing, eat a meal of grilled trout and Ardabil halva, and walk in the foothills of Mount Sabalan. The springs are clustered along the central street and most public baths follow the same pattern — separate men's and women's sections, a pool of hot mineral water, and a colder rinse. Bring a towel and slip-on sandals.
