The Ammonite Wall is a rock face in Makhtesh Ramon packed with fossil ammonites. A sign from Route 40 points to the short trail, and the walk takes about 20 minutes each way. It is a small site, but a memorable stop for seeing the crater's ancient marine geology up close.
