Trams run from Okayama Station toward the castle and Korakuen area, and local buses fill in the gaps. The central sights can also be covered on foot if the weather is kind.
For Kurashiki, take a JR local train west from Okayama Station. For Naoshima, continue by train to Uno and connect by ferry.
