Samegai-juku Museum is a small museum and rest stop in the old Samegai post town on the Nakasendo road. The exhibits are modest, but the setting is the real draw: a historic street beside a clear stream where white baikamo flowers bloom in summer.
It works best as a short detour for travellers interested in old highway towns between Nagahama and Hikone.
