Ebisu takes its name from the Yebisu brewery that operated on this site from 1890 until production moved out in 1988 — the museum, inside Yebisu Garden Place, tells that history. The free general exhibition covers the brewing process and the brand's history with old equipment and advertising; the paid Tasting Salon lets you sample Yebisu varieties, including some limited editions not sold elsewhere, using prepaid tasting coins from vending machines.
A 45-minute guided tour ("Yebisu the Journey," around ¥2,000 for adults) goes further into the museum and brewery areas with tastings included, though it's cashless — card or e-payment only. A good low-key stop on a walk through Garden Place, easily combined with the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum next door.
