Salmiya has more restaurants per square kilometre than anywhere else in Kuwait, and the range is genuinely impressive: Kuwaiti seafood, Lebanese grills, Indian curry houses, Filipino canteens, Filipino bakeries, American chains, and Japanese sushi all coexist on and around Salem Al-Mubarak Street and the Marina waterfront. Prices are moderate by Gulf standards.
