A long-running Uzbek restaurant in central Bishkek with a strong reputation for plov done the Tashkent way — large grains of rice, soft slow-cooked lamb, sweet carrot, raisins and chickpeas. The samsa (clay-oven-baked savoury pastries) are also worth trying. Service is brisk and busy at lunch.
Like most Bishkek Uzbek restaurants, alcohol is available but not really the point; tea and ayran are the standard accompaniment.
