Aen Cave is a developed cave outside Thakhek, lit inside and fitted with stairways that wind through its chambers. A river runs through the cave mouth and into a large pool at the back, and boat trips through the cave are sometimes available, making it a straightforward stop on the cave circuit rather than a technical outing.
