Jounieh's bar and nightlife scene is centred in Kaslik, where the waterfront fills with people from Thursday evening through the weekend. The Lebanese approach to bars involves eating as much as drinking — mezze platters arrive alongside drinks, and a good night out blurs the distinction between restaurant and bar. Many venues have terraces directly above the water. The scene is quite mixed: young professionals, families, couples, and tourists all share the same spaces without much awkwardness.
In summer, beach clubs along the bay (primarily south of the town centre) supplement the Kaslik bar scene. Some require day passes to access the beach and pool.
