Gunung Mulu National Park

Gunung Mulu National Park is Sarawak at its most spectacular: giant limestone caves, rainforest trails, canopy walks, and the jagged Pinnacles of Gunung Api. It is a UNESCO-listed park and one of the strongest reasons to fly into Miri.

Mulu rewards time. The show caves are accessible, but the Pinnacles trek and deeper cave trips need planning, fitness, and guides.

Mulu's Deer Cave is famous for its evening bat exodus, when millions of bats stream out in twisting ribbons. The spectacle feels almost weather-like: a living cloud pouring from a cave mouth.
