The Cameron Highlands have a network of numbered jungle trails winding through mossy, cool rainforest — a welcome change from the lowland heat. The trails range from easy hour-long walks to full-day treks. Trail 9 leads to the Robinson Waterfall, a popular half-day outing through dense forest. Trail 4 takes you to Parit Falls, less visited and muddier but more rewarding for that.
The trails are not always well-marked, and leeches are a fact of life after rain. Bring long socks, water, and start early — afternoon mist rolls in fast at this elevation.
