Kluang Food Guide

Local-focused guide to Kluang's hawker stalls and kopitiams

Kluang punches above its size for food. The town is best known for Kluang Rail Coffee (inside the railway station), but there are stronger options for those who explore further.

Chinese restaurants worth seeking out include Chuan Mei (seafood, lunch and dinner), Cin Cin (popular for wedding banquets but open to all), and Lerk Foo Lian Seng (open 8 pm to 3 am — good for a late supper).

Mamak food: Warung Kak Esah in Taman Intan is the local favourite — the mee goreng and roti are standouts, open until 2 am. Another reliable mamak is in Kluang Baru at the cross junction near the old Paris block.

Nasi lemak: Bob's has two stalls, one in Taman Intan opposite 7-Eleven and one in Kluang Baru opposite Myone.

Curry mee: Botak has two outlets — one in Chinatown and one in Kluang Baru. Yong He along Jalan Niyor is another solid option.

Kopitiam: Beyond Kluang Rail, Old Town in Kluang Parade and the kopitiam near Rex Cinema are both decent.
