Eating Out

KKB has the usual Malaysian small-town spread of Chinese coffee shops, Malay nasi campur stalls, and Indian Muslim mamak restaurants. The morning market is the best bet for breakfast — try the nasi lemak, char kway teow, and freshly made kuih. Several cafes aimed at the KL day-tripper crowd have opened in recent years along the main street. Prices throughout are significantly lower than the capital.
