KKB is about 65 kilometres north of Kuala Lumpur city centre. By car, take the E1 North-South Expressway to Rawang, then the A1 federal road north to KKB — around one hour with no traffic. KTM commuter rail runs from KL Sentral to Rawang, where you change for the branch line to Kuala Kubu Bharu station; the journey takes around 75–90 minutes and trains run several times a day. From KKB, Fraser's Hill is a further hour's drive up winding mountain roads.
