Galolhu is the central district of Malé, a tight grid of mid-rise apartment blocks between Henveiru to the east and Maafannu to the west. The National Football Stadium sits in its middle and acts as the neighbourhood's main public space.
There is little here for sightseeing — Galolhu's interest is in the everyday: cheap local restaurants, neighbourhood mosques, hardware shops and small grocery stores. It is the most densely populated of the four districts.
