The National Football Stadium — locally the Galolhu Rasmee Dhandu — is the country's biggest sports venue, a roughly 11,000-seat ground tucked into the dense Galolhu district. It hosts national-team matches, the Dhivehi Premier League and the FA Cup final, plus the occasional concert.
If you are in town when a fixture is on, it is one of the few times you can see Malé properly switch off the political stuff and just enjoy something together. The stadium is a five-minute walk from the Islamic Centre. Day-of-match tickets are sold at the gate.
