Ulaanbaatar's National Park is the city's main green release valve, a broad landscaped space on the southeast side of town with paths, lawns, small lakes, playgrounds, and bike rentals. It is not wilderness, but it gives the capital something it badly needs: open air away from traffic and construction.
Visit for a relaxed walk, a family stop, or a simple look at everyday urban life in Ulaanbaatar. It pairs well with nearby museums or Zaisan, and it is most appealing in warm months when the paths fill with cyclists, children, and evening strollers.
