Durbar Square and the lanes immediately around it have a cluster of rooftop restaurants and cafes catering to visitors, offering reliable Nepali food, momos, and filtered coffee with views over the temples. Away from the square, the local dhabas and Newari restaurants are cheaper and more authentic.
